Brett White is a comedy writer and a proud Southern man -- you know, proud of all the good stuff (Dolly Parton, Blanche Devereaux, and Goo Goo Clusters).

Brett relocated to New York City in 2006 for an internship at "The Late Show with David Letterman"; he would return to the Ed Sullivan Theater as a "Late Show" page in 2009, where he psyched up audience members by shouting rules at them. During this time, he began a lengthy relationship with the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. Brett became a writer for the theater's long-running sketch team Thunder Gulch, producing 29 monthly shows and five editions of the Halloween "SNL" parody show "Monster Night Live." He also wrote for the sketch team Everything Rabbits and created videos for the UCB Comedy Digital team, UCB1.

With Left Handed Radio, Brett wrote and performed sketches for the ears of comedy fans across the globe. He also helped create a pilot for Comedy Central's Short Pilot Competition and produced Podtoons in collaboration with Above Average, in which he provided the voice for the affectionately named PodCritter.

Through his work as an assistant editor at Comic Book Resources, Brett has become a respected comic book journalist (which is, surprisingly a thing). His opinions can be read weekly in his column, "In Your Face Jam." Brett also provided in-depth interviews and commentary for Marvel.com and served as the head editor of MTV's comic book movie blog, Splash Page.
